Note: The “Anthem Access Code” for certification (for new and returning users) is External-SelfReg (with the hyphen, exactly as shown).
Is AHIP required?
Yes.
What is the AHIP cost?
If completed through Anthem's broker portal, the cost is $125. If completed through AHIP directly, the cost is $175.
Does AHIP qualify for compliance credit?
Yes.
Does Anthem reimburse for AHIP?
You can qualify for a $50 discount if you begin AHIP certification prior to any other module. If you start another module before starting AHIP, you will not receive the discount.
Is face-to-face training required?
No.
Supplemental product trainings will be available for all Anthem brands. You can view the training schedules and RSVP at https://brokertraining.anthem.com
Will 2019 certification allow me to sell in 2018?
Yes.
Is there a difference for first time certification and re-certification?
If you are certifying for the first time, you will need to create a profile before starting the certification training.
